Future Business Leaders of America
Regional Leadership Conference
The event was held on Tuesday, December 16, at St. Vincent College.  Students from Penn Trafford, Gateway, Norwin, Hempfield, Franklin Regional, Kiski Area, Penn Hills, McKeesport, Forbes Road, Serra Catholic, Springdale, Yough , and Woodland Hills, competed for the opportunity to advance to the State Leadership Conference in Hershey this April.

Dave Babik reached a milestone Thusday night as Penn-Trafford's Boys and Girls Swim Coach. He recorded his 500th win at Gateway High School. This is a great accomplishment. Congratulations Coach Babik.

Senior Citizen Holiday Breakfast
Tuesday, December 23 at 9:20 - 11:20 am in the Penn Middle cafeteria. Homemade breakfast french toast, fruit mix, sausage, coffee, & egg frittata. Door prizes will be given out and entertainment from the 8th grade chorus and the jazz band.

Penn-Trafford Band News
The following high school band students will be representing Penn- Trafford High School in the PMEA District 1 East Senior High Band, which will be hosted by Greater Latrobe High School, January 7-9, 2015:
Bryan Jones- Trombone
Nicholas Norman- Clarinet
Teresa Northcraft- French Horn
Joshua Peles- Trumpet
David Reger- Alto Saxophone 
The guest conductor is Reed Chamberlin, Director of Academic Bands at the University of Nevada, Reno.   
David Reger, a junior at Penn- Trafford HS, auditioned into the PMEA District 1 Honors Band on alto saxophone. David will be representing our school throughout the festival, which culminates with the concert at Carnegie Music Hall, on Sunday November 23rd.  David also auditioned into the PMEA District 1 Honors Jazz Festival, which is being hosted at Shady Side Academy on December 12-13.

Trafford Middle School Chorus Concert – Decades!  
Thursday, March 26, 2015 – 7 p.m. - T.M.S. Auditorium  
This concert will feature music through the 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, and today!  This concert will feature piano solos, the eighth grade chorus, vocal solos, and instrumental solos.
