Congratulations to the Class of 2009!
Class of 2009 Graduation DVDs
The delivery date for Graduation DVDs has been postponed to Tuesday,
June
23rd. DVDs will be available in the high school office on Tuesday,
June
23rd. Thank you for your patience as our students continue to
work on the
production of these DVDs during their vacations. Please direct

Elementary Library Focus Group
"Author
of the Month" Container Volunteers Needed!! -- We are looking
for volunteers who would be interested in compiling materials
to be used in the “Author of the Month” containers
displayed at the Elementary Libraries. There will be a Q&A
opportunity to discuss the details of what these containers can
be filled with as well as how they will be distributed on Tuesday,
July 7th, 9AM – 12PM, feel free to stop in anytime. (Some
of the chosen Authors include: Paulette Bourgeois, Jamie Lee
Curtis, Robert Munsch, and Jack Gantos). Please click HERE to

Summer Math Packet
Need the Summer
Math Packet for Students entering Grade 6 Pre-Algebra for the
2009-2010 School Year? Please (click
here) to download and print a summer work
packet that pertains to the Grade Six Pre-Algebra course. This
will be used to assist the sixth grade teacher to support your
child’s needs
during the upcoming school year. The packet is NOT graded;
it is merely a tool to assist the teacher with instructional
decisions. We ask that the packet be completed and taken to
school on the first day, August 31, 2009.

Golf 2009 Tryout Information
Any
student/athlete without a cleared physical will not be permitted
to tryout. Tryouts will begin Tuesday, August
18 @ 7:30am. - 9 holes and
Wednesday, August
19 @ 7:30 - 9 holes.

Excellence in Technology
Award 2009
The Pennsylvania School Boards Association selected
Penn-Trafford as a 2009 Schools of Excellence in Technology award
recipient. As a recipient of this award, our district will be:
- Recognized in PSBA publications throughout the year
- Provided an opportunity to showcase our technology programming and initiatives
at a showcase we will schedule in the future at our district
- Participate in the Education Excellence Fair at the PASA-PSBA School Leadership
Conference on October 14 from 11 am to 2 pm
