Player of the Month
Student athlete at your school, Galen Kreutzberger, has been placed on this week’s ballot by the team at MSA Sports for consideration of the ProGrass “First in Turf” Player of the Month.  Voting is currently underway and will end at noon on Friday with the winners being announced during this week’s MSA Sports Scoreboard Show.Votes are being accepted via the following link:

WPIAL AAAA Football Playoffs
Penn-Trafford Warriors will host the Fox Chapel Foxes on Friday, October 31 at 7:30pm at Warrior Stadium.  
Pre-Sale Ticket Prices

Pre-Sale will be held at Penn-Trafford High School only
Thursday and Friday at lunches for students in the HS cafeteria

There will be a ticket pre-sale for the general public on Thursday, October 30 from 4pm-6pm at the Penn-Trafford HS Athletic Office.  Please enter at the High School Gym entrance.

ALL TICKETS ARE $7 AT THE GATE. NO STUDENT OR PARENT PASSES ACCEPTED. The Ticket Gates will not open until 5:30pm at the Stadium. No masks, balls, horns, whistles or sirens. Signs must be in good taste.

Shuttle buses are available from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm from the Community United Methodist Church parking lot on Route 130 to the stadium. Then back to the Community United Methodist Church parking lot Route 130 for 30 minutes after the game ends.

Congratulations 
Congratulations to Jon Burkhart, Katelynn Powell, Taylor Powell and Mike Zula for their selection into the PMEA District 1 Honors Choir.  After undergoing an audition process, Jon, Katelynn, Taylor and Mike spent two days rehearsing at the Seton Hill University Performing Arts Center in Greensburg, PA, with other high school students from all over Western Pennsylvania.  Their hard work and dedication culminated in an amazing public performance on Saturday, October 25, 2014.  Thank you to Jon, Katelynn, Taylor and Mike for representing the PTHS Choral Department so well!

Trafford Middle School Chorus Concert – Multicultural Holiday Concert
Thursday, November 20, 2014, 7 p.m., T.M.S. Auditorium 
This concert will feature the cultural backgrounds of our 6th, 7th, and 8th grade chorus members and will include German, Slovakian, Russian, Spanish, Irish, Cherokee music, and more!   We will also feature piano solos, the eighth grade chorus, vocal solos, and instrumental solos.

Kerry Hetrick, Athletic Director at PT was inducted into the Pennsylvania Sports Hall of Fame.  The event was held at the Edgewood Country Club on Thursday, October 9, 2014.


Trafford Middle School Chorus Concert – Decades!  
Thursday, March 26, 2015 – 7 p.m. - T.M.S. Auditorium  
This concert will feature music through the 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, and today!  This concert will feature piano solos, the eighth grade chorus, vocal solos, and instrumental solos.


Attention Parents!
According to the National Defense Authority Authorization Act of 2002, the No Child Left Behind Act of 2002 and the PA Act 10 (Armed Forces Recruiting Act), schools are required to provide names, addresses, and telephone numbers of students entering their junior and senior years to the various branches of the military.  If a parent wishes to withhold this information, they may contact the high school by October 30, 2014 to have the student's name removed from this list.  If you wish to remove your child's name, please email Pam Albert albertp@penntrafford.org.  Otherwise, this information will be released to military branches.
