PTAC will conduct their Pre-Aqua swim program for boys and girls in the PT School District that are interested in pursuing the PT Aqua Club Summer Session. We also accept registrations from outside of PT, so please pass the
word along to family and friends in our neighboring districts!
If you have a new student for the 2014-2015 school year, please register your child by calling the school office. All information for Incoming Kindergarten students comes in the mail after we receive your registration! We will take all the necessary information over the phone.

Trafford Middle School Spring Band Concert
April 24, 2014
TMS Bands will perform their Spring Concert on Thursday, April 24th at 7:00 PM in the Trafford Middle School Auditorium. The concert will feature the middle school’s sixth grade band, seventh/eighth grade band, and the jazz band. The concert is open to the public.
Trafford Middle School Chorus Concert
Thursday, May 1, 2014 - 7:00 pm - Night at the Movies - Academy Award winning songs from movies - will feature the 7th, 7th and 8th grade combined chorus, the 8th grade chorus, dances, vocal solos and instrumental solos.
Rescheduling of June Board Meeting
The date of the Regular Board Meeting of the Penn-Trafford Board of School Directors has been changed from Monday, June 9, 2014 to Thursday, June 19, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. in the Penn-Trafford High School Library in Harrison City, PA.
PT Summer Academy
Summer Academy offers students from the Penn-Trafford School District and students from any other high school the opportunity to get a jump on their secondary career. Students will be instructed through a blended learning format, which includes face-to-face instruction as well as utilizing the Internet to afford each student a more personalized learning experience. Students are provided control over the time, place, path, and/or pace of his or her learning. All classes are taught by Penn-Trafford Teachers who are adjunct college professors at LaRoche College and Mt. Aloysius College. Upon successful completion of the college class(es) students will receive 3 college credits. College classes do not fulfill Penn-Trafford High School graduation requirements.

PMEA All-State Concert Band
Teresa Northcraft, a junior at Penn- Trafford HS, will be representing our school during the Pennsylvania Music Educators Association State Conference in Hershey, PA. The PMEA All- State Concert Band will be under the direction of Andrew Boysen from the University of New Hampshire.

PT Middle 3 inline Championship defeated Chartiers Valley on Saturday morning clinching the championship. are students are from Penn Middle and Trafford Middle in the picture. Score was 2-0.
Congratulations Mackenzie Smith (6th Grade-Penn Middle School) for auditioning and making it into the Westmoreland Children's Chorus. The Westmoreland Children's Chorus is composed of students living in Westmoreland County who are in 3rd-8th grade.
Congratulations to Jonah Graffius on being selected as a Finalist for a National Merit Scholarship. Jonah hopes to be selected for a scholarship among more that 15,000 Finalists.

Congratulations to Cameron Breze!
Cameron was accepted into the Prestigious Pennsylvania Governor's School for Sciences at Carnegie Mellon University. This is a five week program that provides enrichment experiences in science and math and encourages students to pursue careers in science and technology. Only 60 students statewide were accepted into this years program of 515 applicants.
