Classes Focus on Reducing Students’ Stress (5-4-21)

In Mrs. Alison Siniawski’s Independent Living and Fashion Design classes at Penn-Trafford High School, students are learning about stress reduction techniques for little children, teens, and young adults.  The students then share the techniques with preschoolers who attend the school’s Child Development class.

“Teenagers and young children, like adults, may experience stress every day and benefit from learning stress management skills, especially during this pandemic,” said Mrs. Siniawski.  “We use class time in our Family and Consumer Sciences classes to discuss stress management techniques. By using these and other techniques, the students can begin to manage their stress with a healthy method that works for them.”
