The students of Penn-Trafford High School’s Academic Quiz Team fared very well at the Academic Quiz League Tournament hosted by Mt. Pleasant High School in mid-November.
Penn-Trafford's Junior Varsity Team finished in first place for their season and second place in the tournament, while the Varsity team finished in second place for both the season and in the tournament.
Students Nicholas Freilino (Varsity) and Kaj Colby (JV) were both recognized as top point scorers for their teams.
The varsity team will continue with competitions in the Spring, including the Regional Quiz Bowl Competition hosted by the Westmoreland Intermediate Unit.
