PMS Students Sculpt Animal Heads

Penn Middle School’s seventh-grade art students recently completed their life-sized animal head sculptures by upcycling plastic bottles.

Under the direction of art teacher Mrs. Gialloreto and student-teacher Miss McVay, the students were able to build armatures for the heads from plastic bottles, aluminum foil, newspaper, and masking tape. Students finished the structures by applying layers of paper mache and acrylic paints.
