The Penn-Trafford Warrior football team collected yet another kudos to add to their unforgettable 2021 season. They were invited by Mr. Mike Marchinsky, Youth Football & Player Relations Manager for the Pittsburgh Steelers, to be honored guests at the December 19th Steelers vs. Tennessee Titans football game at Heinz Field.
The Steelers provided tickets and food/beverage vouchers to the entire team and coaching staff. They also broadcasted a congratulations video on the jumbotron to congratulate PT during the first quarter and presented the team with a banner.
“We are so grateful to the Steelers for inviting us to Heinz and for recognizing us in front of a Pittsburgh crowd,” commented Coach John Ruane. “The kids enjoyed the experience so much and it was a nice touch on a great season.”
