In observance of the French tradition of la Fête des Rois (Feast of the Kings) which is celebrated each January 6th, students in Mrs. Rizzardi’s French classes at Penn-Trafford High School dined on sweet treats to close out the holiday season.
Rizzardi served cookies instead of the traditional galette des rois. Winners - those students who chose a special sprinkled cookie - were declared kings and queens who are said to receive good luck throughout the year.
