Mrs. Kelly Pratt has acquired new graphic novels for her 2nd-grade classroom at Harrison Park Elementary School. The books were made possible through a DonorsChoose fundraising campaign.
“Graphic novels hook even the most reluctant readers,” comments Pratt. “They are full of pictures, have fewer words, and use handwritten dialogue bubbles to capture a reader's attention. They can provide the extra support kids need to help them through a harder text.”
