Mrs. Jenny Winters, a Library Aide at Trafford Elementary School received a DonorsChoose grant to begin a ‘Birthday Kindness Project’ at the school. Mrs. Winters acquired supplies to decorate students' lockers on their birthdays. She enlists the help of fourth and fifth graders to help decorate as an act of kindness. She comments, “Every student should feel extra special on their birthday!”
Students who had July and August birthdays were surprised with a birthday locker on the first day of school.
