Miss Aubrey Frye, a Student Learning Assistant at Trafford Elementary School, received nearly $500 in funding through the DonorsChoose crowdfunding platform for her ‘Big Comfy Classroom’ campaign. The funds enabled Frye to create a calm and relaxing environment where students can learn with dim lights and flexible seating.
She was able to purchase cushions, yoga balls, and blue fluorescent light covers. “The students have really enjoyed the flexible seating for small groups and have been excited to come see the blue room!," commented Miss Frye.
