The students of Trafford Middle School (Penn-Trafford School District) participated in the Westmoreland County Food Bank’s annual “Turkey Cup Challenge,” raising over $1,100 for the hungry in our community.
Each homeroom collected small change and dollar bills, with donut parties awarded to the following classes with the highest totals: 1st Place - Mrs. Ruoff’s 6th-grade class, 2nd Place - Mrs. Todd’s 6th-grade class, 3rd Place - Mrs. Wardzinski’s 7th-grade class.
Each classroom had a collection jar for coins to be deposited
