McCullough’s Frosty Festival Is Huge Success

Mrs. Cathy Suman and her fellow teachers at Penn-Trafford’s McCullough Elementary School held their third-annual “Frosty Festival” on Wednesday, November 30.  The event was created to get the school community into the holiday spirit and to supplement the district’s Make-A-Wish fundraising efforts.

Nearly 700 people attended the evening event.  Activities included cookie decorating, Christmas Bingo, face painting, meet and greet with ice princesses, live music, bake sale, silent auction, and various raffles.

In total, approximately $7,900 was raised for Make-A-Wish.  McCullough will present their donation at the Make-A-Wish telethon which will take place on December 21st from 9:00 am – 1:00 pm at the high school.  The telethon, which is produced by the high school’s television production classes, will be streamed live on Facebook, Twitter, and Youtube (@PennTraffordTV).
