Kline Receives Doctorate

On December 16, 2022, Bryan L. Kline defended his doctoral dissertation titled “How do reentry programs affect recidivism?”  Bryan’s research was conducted in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania with various county prisons that established reentry coalitions through the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency.  He is the Warden at the Westmoreland County Prison, where he plans to put his research findings into practical use. Dr. Kline earned the Doctorate in Criminal Justice from Saint Leo University.


Dr. Kline is an elected school board member in the Penn-Trafford School District Region 1. In addition to his Doctorate, he has a Master of Science degree in Law and Public Policy from California University of Pennsylvania, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from Lock Haven University.
