On February 28, an Academic Worldquest competition pitted two Penn-Trafford teams against teams from Yough and Mount Pleasant High Schools. To prepare for the event, the students spent months reviewing Social Studies topics spanning the globe.
The first-place team consisted of Kaj Colby, Emma Edwards, Mark Harris and McCarthy Poljak. The third place team consisted of Marissa Fong, Cameron Greyno, Michael Harris, Megan Kamzalow, and Tim Wolford.
