Penn-Trafford Seniors Honored With Parades

The Penn-Trafford School District celebrated its ‘Class of 2023’ with two special parades on Wednesday, May 24.  That morning, members of Penn-Trafford’s Senior Class boarded buses to travel to their own elementary schools and pay tribute to the school where they started their Penn-Trafford journey.  They were met by signs, cheers, and fist-bumps from the elementary students and staff.

That evening at 6:00, a long line of student cars was joined by police and fire department vehicles for the community parade which began at St. Barbara’s Church and traveled through Municipal Park, and then around the High School.  Student vehicles were adorned with green and gold balloons, streamers, and college colors.  Some seniors even enjoyed a firepit from a flatbed truck that rolled by.

"The parade was a great chance to catch up with old friends you don't always see and a reminder of how nice PT can be," commented senior Kate Schall.
