UPMC East Lab Workers Donate to Trafford Elementary School

For the third consecutive year, the UPMC East pathology department donated supplies to the students at Trafford Elementary.  Christine Morain (Point of Care Coordinator) and her co-workers at UPMC donated hula hoops, nerf balls, cornhole games, sidewalk chalk, and other recess equipment upon learning that the school’s playground is unavailable during construction.

“Working with the pathology department at UPMC East over the last few years has greatly benefited our students,” commented Trafford Elementary teacher Mr. Bujdos.  “In the past, they donated art supplies and indoor recess games.  This year, they came through with outdoor recess equipment while funds are still being raised for our playground.”
