New Classroom Materials Make Learning Fun

At Level Green Elementary School, Mrs. Shogan’s first-grade students are enjoying new hands-on phonics resources thanks to DonorsChoose, a crowdfunding platform for teachers.

The new materials include games and manipulatives that encourage students to sound out and spell words in fun and engaging ways.  “We have already started using these new learning centers and my first graders are having fun while mastering their decoding skills,” commented Shogan.
