2023 Homecoming Parade and Crowning

The Annual Penn-Trafford Homecoming Parade kicked off from Penn Township Municipal Park at 6:00 pm on Friday, September 22.  The parade featured creative floats with the theme ‘Cartoons.’ Floats were sponsored by many Penn-Trafford clubs and organizations.

The floats were judged by a panel of teachers, and winners were announced in three categories.  The ‘Best Costumes’ award went to the Sophomores (Class of 2026) with “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” because of their use of recycled materials. The Spanish Club won ‘Most Creative’ for their “Coco” float.  Finally, the Juniors (Class of 2025) won the ‘Best in Show’ for their amazing depiction of “Scooby Doo”, with a real-life Scooby!

The 2023 Homecoming court also participated in the parade, riding in a procession of decked-out convertibles.  Crowning took place prior to kickoff, with Waylon Fetty being named as Homecoming King and DeLaney Miklos as Queen.
