Science Classes Enjoy Bubbling Experiment

The third, fourth, and fifth-grade students in Mr. Monzo’s science classes at Level Green Elementary enjoyed a hands-on activity led by building sub-teacher, Miss Cipra.

In the days preceding their holiday break, the students created lava lamp ornaments by mixing oil, water, food coloring, and an antacid tablet together.  The result was a bubbling, colorful, and exciting surprise.
