Each year, the excitement of summer vacation comes early for students at Penn-Trafford’s five elementary schools, thanks to the much-anticipated tradition of Fun Day. Held annually in late May, this special event marks the beginning of the summer season with a full day dedicated to games, laughter, and school spirit.
For 2025, each school selected a day during the week of May 19 to host their event, with the last day of school taking place on Friday, May 23. Although this year's weather brought rain showers throughout the week, the schools didn’t let that dampen the festivities. During rainy times, staff and volunteers quickly adapted by moving some of the planned outdoor activities indoors, ensuring students could still enjoy the day to the fullest.
