Students Experience Bubble Lab

Students in Mrs. Laura McCracken’s Chemistry classes at Penn-Trafford High School recently participated in a discovery bubble lab. During the activity, students tested three different solutions to determine which would produce the bubble with the largest diameter.

After collecting and comparing their results, students shared data as a class and wrote CERs (claim, evidence, and reasoning reports) to explain their findings. The lab provided an opportunity to strengthen key skills such as measurement, data analysis, and scientific writing, which will continue to support their learning in Chemistry and future science courses.
