The Penn-Trafford School District is pleased to announce the appointment of Mrs. Rebecca Rodriguez as the district’s new Director of Business Affairs.
Mrs. Rodriguez is a graduate of Southmoreland High School and Waynesburg University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting and a minor in Management. She brings more than 25 years of professional experience to her new role, including 18 years in management with CVS Caremark and 8 years in school business operations.
Most recently, Mrs. Rodriguez served as the Business Manager for the Frazier School District, where she successfully guided the district from a negative to a positive fund balance following her arrival in January 2024. Prior to that, she worked as the Payroll Specialist for the Southmoreland School District.
“We look forward to the expertise and leadership that Mrs. Rodriguez will bring to the Business Office,” commented Superintendent Dr. Matthew Harris. “We are excited to welcome her to the Penn-Trafford family.
