Level Green Elementary Hosts Winter Family Book Club

Level Green Elementary School was filled with excitement on the evening of December 11 as families gathered for the school’s annual Winter Family Book Club. The well-attended event celebrated reading, family engagement, and the joy of learning together during the winter season.

Families registered in advance and received an age-appropriate, winter-themed book to read together at home prior to the event. On the night of the Book Club, families returned to Level Green Elementary to take part in an evening designed to promote literacy.

The event began with a family dinner, and then the attendees split into grade-level groups to participate in guided book discussions led by teachers. These discussions encouraged students to share their thoughts, make connections, and engage in conversations about the stories they had read together.

In addition to the discussions, students and families enjoyed winter-themed craft activities that complemented the books and added a creative element to the evening. All activities were designed to be engaging, age-appropriate, and family-friendly.

The Winter Family Book Club highlighted the school’s commitment to fostering a love of learning and building a strong sense of community.
