The Penn-Trafford School District proudly recognized its Students of the Month for February 2026 during the school board meeting held on February 2. These outstanding students were invited to attend the meeting alongside their families, where they were celebrated for their hard work, character, and contributions to their school communities.
Molly Pavlovic, a fourth-grader at Level Green Elementary School, was recognized by Principal Jeff Swartz, who praised her as a motivated student, a great friend to her peers, and a kind person who consistently demonstrates positive character.
Kara Tranter, a fifth-grader at Trafford Elementary School, was introduced by Principal Dr. Amy Horvat. Dr. Horvat commended Kara for her kindness toward others, leadership at school, and strong academic performance.
May Wang, an eighth-grade student at Trafford Middle School, was recognized by Principal Dr. Greg Capoccioni. He described May as a well-rounded, stand-out student who is a pleasure to be around.
Brianna Grills, a senior at Penn-Trafford High School, was introduced by Assistant Principal Dr. Luke Healey. He highlighted Brianna’s dedication to her schoolwork, her leadership skills, and her role as a positive role model for younger students.
