Trafford Middle School Drama Club Participates in Byham Theater Workshop

Students from the Trafford Middle School Drama Club visited the Byham Theater in February to take part in a theater workshop focused on various aspects of stage production. A total of 20 students attended the trip.

During the workshop, students were introduced to multiple theater disciplines, including playwriting, lighting design, acting techniques, and hair and makeup design. The experience taught the students about both onstage performance and behind-the-scenes roles that contribute to a theatrical production.

The trip was made possible through a grant from the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust.
