Penn-Trafford High School’s Future Teachers of America club organized a Valentine’s Day card initiative to promote kindness and community outreach.
Under the direction of club sponsors and teachers, Mrs. Deb Cuccaro and Mr. Jeffrey Fox, the club invited teachers throughout the Penn-Trafford School District to participate. Nearly 300 cards were collected in response to the request.
The completed cards were delivered to UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh and the VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System, where they were shared with patients and veterans in recognition of Valentine’s Day.

Roman Pellegrino, who attends the Pre-K program at Penn-Trafford High School, enjoyed making Valentine cards for the children
