On Friday, February 13, Penn-Trafford High School students from Mr. Romeo’s Principles of Engineering and Civil Engineering classes received a tour of the F.S. Elliott Company in Export.
The visit was part of their preparation for the Manufacturing Innovation Challenge organized through Catalyst Connection. The program connects students with regional manufacturers, who present real-world challenges for students to analyze and solve.
Working in teams, students will evaluate the problems provided by F.S. Elliott, develop potential solutions, and present their ideas back to the F.S. Elliott staff.
“We thank F.S. Elliott for their participation in the program and for providing a tour of their facility to our students.” Mr. Romeo said.
