The Penn-Trafford Academic Quiz Team was crowned the WIU7 regional champion on March 13th.
The team delivered a dominant performance at the event, sweeping all preliminary rounds before securing victory in the final round against Norwin and Greater Latrobe.
With this win, Penn-Trafford advances to the state competition, which will take place on May 1 in Harrisburg at the Capitol Complex, where matches will be held on both the Senate and House floors.
Coach Christina Wukich praised the team’s effort and competitive spirit. “Please congratulate these kids when you see them. They were fierce and highly competitive today - a force to be reckoned with!” she said.
