The Penn-Trafford School District recognized its Students of the Month for April 2026 during the school board meeting held on April 13, 2026. The students attended the meeting with their families, where they were acknowledged for their hard work, character, and contributions to their school communities.
(Elementary)
Sloan Szramowski is a 2nd-grade student at Sunrise Elementary. Mr. Dan DiNapoli principal, commended Sloan for being an enthusiastic, kind, and hardworking student.
(Middle School)
Jocelyn Dietz is an 8th-grade student at Trafford Middle School. She was introduced by Dr. Greg Capoccioni, principal. He recognized Jocelyn for her many extracurricular activities, creativity, and leadership.

Kahlan Furnier is an 11th-grader at Penn-Trafford High School. Dr. Megan Flaherty, assistant principal, spoke of Kahlan’s academic excellence, leadership, and dependability.
