Penn-Trafford Names May “Students of the Month”

The Penn-Trafford School District has announced the Students of the Month for May 2026.  The students attended the May 11 school board meeting, where they were each introduced by their school’s principal and presented a certificate of achievement.

 

(Elementary) 

Anastasia Zetkulic is a 5th-grade student at McCullough Elementary.  Dr. Karin Coiner, principal, commended Anastasia for being a kind, humble, and incredibly hard-working student.  

 

(Middle School)

Will Weishaar is an 8th-grade student at Penn Middle School.  He was introduced by Mr. Roger Sullivan, principal, who praised Will for his strong academic performance, extensive athletic activities, and involvement in the community.

 

(High School)

Dr. Luke Healey, assistant principal, introduced Jim Drnjevich and Jim Fike of the Trafford American Legion Post 331, who recognized the following seniors who are entering the military service, ROTC, or a service academy:

 

Avery Broker (Army National Guard)

Deakyn Jankowski (Army National Guard)

Jonavan Klemm (Army National Guard)

Abbigail McQueen (US Army)

Santino Moio (US Air Force)

Logan Moran (US Marine Corps)

Camdyn Ramirez Baker (Army National Guard)

Holden Wright (US Army)

Jackson Boscarino-Bouloy (ROTC)

 

Drnjevich and Fike also presented the American Legion School Awards to seniors Weston Johnson and Mackenzie Cox.  The awards recognize a male and a female graduating senior who demonstrate courage, honor, leadership, patriotism, scholarship, and service.
