High School Seniors Revisit Their Elementary Artwork

Harrison Park Elementary School continues its “Artist of the Year” tradition by recognizing students who demonstrate exceptional creativity and artistic talent in art class.

Each year, one student from every grade level is selected for the honor. The students’ featured artwork is professionally photographed, printed, and framed before being displayed in the school hallway throughout their years in the Penn-Trafford School District.

The tradition serves as a reminder of students’ artistic accomplishments and their time at Harrison Park. As students advance through the district, their artwork remains on display until their senior year.

During the graduating seniors’ walk-through celebration, Harrison Park art teacher Mrs. Christoforetti presents each student with their framed artwork as a keepsake from their elementary school years.

This year, Harrison Park recognized graduating seniors Aaron Burdell and Annabelle Aquino as recipients of their framed artwork, honoring both their artistic achievements and their educational journey through Penn-Trafford schools.
