As the nation prepares to celebrate its 250th birthday on July 4, 2026, students at Trafford Elementary School embraced a challenge focused on kindness and community spirit.
Library Aide Mrs. Jenny Winter encouraged students to complete 250 acts of kindness during the final weeks of the school year. To make the challenge more fun, students received raffle tickets for each kind act they performed.
The project inspired students to spread kindness throughout the school while reinforcing the values of compassion, respect, and citizenship as America approaches this historic milestone.
Mrs. Winter joins Brooklyn Bianca, Lydia Mellon, Dylan Dukic, and Dante Scarpine, who hold their kindness certificates along with the raffle prizes they earned
