Project: Sensory Room Revamp

At McCullough Elementary, we’re dedicated to supporting the whole child - academically, emotionally, and socially.

We are pleased to announce that McCullough has reached its fundraising goal for a new Sensory Room, a calm and supportive environment designed for students of all grade levels who need a moment to reset, refocus, or regulate their emotions.

The Sensory Room has become an essential part of our school’s support system, offering a safe, comforting space where students can take a break from overwhelming situations and return to the classroom ready to learn and engage.

This Building Warrior Campaign has enabled us to equip our Sensory Room with:

🪑 Comfortable furniture for relaxation and reflection
🕯️ Soft lighting to create a soothing atmosphere
🪞 Affirmation posters to build confidence and self-esteem
🎧 White noise machines for calming sound support
🧩 Sensory and fidget toys to aid focus and emotional regulation
🧸 Cozy rugs to make the space warm and inviting

Your support helped us provide this vital resource for all students who benefit from a little extra comfort during their school day. Together, we have created a space where every Warrior feels seen, supported, and strong. 💚
