Head Start

WCA logoThe Head Start and Pre-K Counts programs are provided by Westmoreland Community Action.  These programs support parent and family engagement, optimal child growth and development, and school readiness. To qualify for these programs, families must be residents of Westmoreland County, have children 0-5 years of age, and must meet income guidelines. 
 
In our district, the Head Start program is housed at McCullough Elementary School and Pre-K Counts program is available at Harrison Park Elementary School and Trafford Middle School.  The brochure posted below provides additional details, or you may refer to the WCA website here.
